Preparing your kid to learn your potty training tips and tricks involves patience and persistence. You may have heard that toilet training boys can take much longer than it does for girls. Although it is true that statistically boys take longer than girls; this should not put off you from starting the process. Remember, the best results are achieved if you are able to win the trust and confidence of your little boy, the potty training ability will naturally follow. Getting tips from other parents on how to potty train your boy is a good way to support yourself with information to begin the course of action. Keep in mind that your boy will be potty trained when he is ready and not before. If your son is curious on going to the bathroom; that would be an indication that he’s ready to be toilet trained or to your potty training tips.

Even though no one seems to understand why, Statistically, boys do take longer to train than girls does. The difference may be partially due to the fact that moms are usually the person responsible for potty training. Without a male role model to imitate in the bathroom, boys may take a little longer to get the idea. Moms do not have the anatomy to actually show a boy how the process works. Boys have more steps in the learning process as well. They first learn to potty sitting down and then learn potty training tips to potty standing up.

Potty Training Tips here is to make sure your little boy become comfortable with using a potty chair before you shift to the main toilet. Having their own potty seems to encourage quicker potty learning. Give him enough time to pace his learning and often times when he is finally allowed to use the main toilet, he will become interested in potty training again, as he will feel like he is a big kid.

Once he has mastered urinating sitting down, he can move up to the standing position. Another potty training tips is to let him watch and learn by letting dad teach him how to do it the proper way. Allow him to watch the process and then let your son try it out for himself in his potty chair. Boys love a challenge, so if he seems lack of interested, try to sing a song or read his favorite stories to let him stay on the potty.

Even if it means your little son doesn’t get it right the first time or on following attempts, you should always give confidence him throughout the potty training process,. It is just part of the training process to try and fail until the concept is mastered. There is no time period when it comes to the readiness of your little boy when it comes to potty training. Please do not force him. With dedication and patience, you can teach your little boy the right way of using the toilet, despite the fact that there may be many difficulties to challenge with along the way. Figuring out how to potty train a boy just takes a little extra time and hopefully these potty training tips with help.

Potty training can be a difficult experience for both parent and child. When done correctly, it can be a moment in time that is looked at as a blessing. The child feels like a ‘big kid’, the parent gets out of buying diapers! But, when rushed, it can be a disaster.

Therefore, before even considering the process, ask yourself these questions:

1. Is this a relatively stress-free time in the family?

Look carefully at your current family situation. Is there extra time? Are activities at the lowest possible point in time? No major changes coming soon? Job stress low? It is important to have the time and patience to successfully get through potty training with a smile on your face. So, if you have big projects at work or the distant relative is coming to stay with you for awhile, now may not be the greatest of times to get started. However, if everything is running smoothly, it may be the perfect time to begin.

2. Is your child ready?

It use to be that a child was pushed to be potty trained at the age of one. Those days are long gone, thank goodness. By nature, a child starts to become interested around the age of two. However, each child is different and the final decision as to when to try and use the potty is strictly between the parent and child.

When a child is ready, they will start to show signs.

Signs of readiness:

· Child wanting to wear ‘big kid’ underwear

· Keeping their diaper dry for 2 hours

· Having predictable bowel movements

· Telling you when they have to go

· Uncomfortable wearing diapers

· Able to pull their own pants up and down

If they show the above signs, it might just be time to give it a shot.

Ready?

· Take your child to the store and let them pick out their own potty chair.

· Encourage them to decorate it with stickers and drawings to make it feel more like their own.

· Start by just letting them sit on it whenever they want, for whatever reason. They may want to read a book while sitting on their potty; they may also want to use the potty with their diaper on. Just sitting on it will help them be more comfortable.

· Make “potty time” a routine. Set specific times your child sits on the potty for a few minutes, whether or not they actually use it doesn’t matter.

· At other then the designated times, if they show signs of need, rush them to the potty chair and reward them if they successfully used the chair.

· Try NOT to get mad when they have an accident. This process takes time and practice and the children should be rewarded for successes. Not punished for failures.

· When your child does a “poo-poo” in their diapers, help them take it to the potty chair. That will quietly tell them where the “poo-poo” goes.

After several weeks of success, it may be time to ditch the diapers. Make this a big event. Let the child throw them away and let them know they are now a “big” boy or girl. This is a moment to be celebrated and remember. Maybe bake a cake and take pictures.

If your child is still in need of night time cover, buy special pull-ups or night time trainers. They look and feel more like underwear and your child will not feel like they failed at night due to accidents. Don’t even call them diapers. They are simply “Night Trainers.” It is perfectly normal for the nights to take a little longer for the child to gain control over.

This can be a long and difficult process, but it is a huge part of growing up. Some children take longer than others. Try not to worry and do not to let anyone comment on the length of training. Keep in mind that this is equally as stressful for your child as it is for you.

Children grow up so fast and unless unusual circumstances exist, there are no children walking down the aisle to graduate high school wearing diapers! So, relax! All things will come in time, including potty training.

A lot of attention has been given to the potty training in a day method. It is appealing to many parents since it appears to be easy and not drawn out. Supporters of this method contend that if a child is ready to be trained, it is less confusing if you spend an entire day on the process. The method that is usually described is very specific. The training is supposed to take place in a room with easily cleaned floors, usually the kitchen. Drinks, snacks and candies are provided. This approach avoids inconsistent instruction by the parents since they are not supposed to be disrupted by other daily activities. Only one parent should do the instruction. The child is usually naked or lightly dressed with loose clothing so quick placement on the potty is possible. Spending considerable time on the potty is required, and the child may need to be entertained and coached in order to stay there.

The instruction is all inclusive. The child is taught how to remove the clothes, use the potty and empty the potty, flush and replace the clothing. Staying on or near the potty will show the child they can go in the potty and be rewarded. As long as the parents are encouraging and diligent then the child may not view it as a forceful process. However, the classical teaching of this method included scolding and gentle discipline. Rewards are provided usually in the form of treats or stickers. The 5-10 hour method can be very effective if parents choose a time when the child wants to please their parents and if the child is truly ready to potty train.

Several child specialists have spoken openly against this method. It is sometimes viewed as an intensive program that gives parents unrealistic expectations. It is also perceived as a process that does not allow children any input to the process. Those against this approach contend that if the child is not “ready” then this intensive instruction will be detrimental to normal parent-child relationships. Opponents say this technique teaches kids to only go on command and not learn the correct process for themselves. Furthermore, they believe these children may actually take longer to train because they become resistant to forceful instruction.

On the other hand, this was a very common technique that was used when cloth diapers were commonplace. Parents were loving but motivated. Success was common and some flexibility was usually allowed. Children still loved their parents at the conclusion and many were well trained. The approach instilled good practices and responsible actions in regards to toilet training. All of the aspects of toilet training were usually incorporated with this approach and these included:

• Undressing

• Sitting on the potty

• Emptying the potty (including flushing) and avoiding messes

• Hand washing and good hygiene

• Dressing

Parents who love their child and do not want any ill will still use this technique today. Long-term studies have not been produced that show any adverse problems when using this approach in a loving and caring environment.

Potty training a pet is not as difficult or as complicated as it seems, but this process will definitely require some dedicated effort. Here are some pet potty training tips.

Click Here For Pet Zoom Pet Park Instant Access Now!

First: Don’t wait to train. You can begin potty training your pet as early as possible because it will be much harder to get them trained when they are older. It is important to remember that they are easier to teach while they are young. Second: Let your pet out at least every two hours. Also, it is most likely that your pet has to be let out within fifteen minutes of eating or drinking, right after playing, or right after waking up from a nap.

Third: Watch out for signs that they have to go. Notice your pet’s behavior right before going in order for you to prevent house accidents. Dogs, for example, usually sniff or go around in circles to look for a good spot to go. Once they learn that they cannot defecate or urinate inside the house, they may use some other method of getting your attention like standing by the door or barking. Fourth: Do not punish your pet. Pets would not understand why they are being punished after the fact. Also remember that positive reinforcement is an important element in pet training. Praise your pet for good behavior. Giving it a gentle pat on the head or some treats are simple ways of recognizing its efforts.

Last: Be patient. In potty training your pet, it is not only you as the pet owner who has to understand your pet; your pet also has to understand you. Select a phrase which you will associate with going to the potty, and use this phrase consistently. Be consistent. Sending a consistent message will help your pet learn quickly.

Practicing the right techniques for house training your pet will make the process easier for the both of you.

Dog potty training tips and tools are everywhere. A lot of people can make it even more difficult to start potty training for their dogs. Mainly, this is caused by the fact that a majority of dog owners do not know how to start and do it the right way. Being the dog owner yourself, you have to fully feel comfortable that this is something you have to do and hiring a trainer to do it on your behalf is not a practical option to take.

It starts with you and entails your time and attention. By doing enough research and preparation, you’ll be rewarded with a fortunately trained dog. Here are some basic guidelines for you to read before you start on potty training for your dog:

1. Try to meet up with dog sellers or breeders to talk about your plans of potty training your dog. This will be the best time for you to ask for suggestions so you can educate yourself on how to handle your dog specifically. You can also discuss with a veterinarian the questions you have in mind. Being the best on his field, the veterinarian give you helpful advices on how to start with your dog potty training. He/she can also help you plot that schedule for potty moments.

2. Set a schedule for your dog’s potty times. You have to remember that establishing a schedule is one of the main key you have to be consistent about. It is highly recommended for you not to wait or bring your dogs outside every single day. Just set a schedule on when during the day you would practice him for potty training. This is because dogs basically learn fast and if you follow a set schedule, they are most likely to learn quickly.

3. Reward your dog for a job well done by praising him. Your dog will recognize the positive reaction from you whenever he does it the right away. With that, you have to always remember to praise your dog and pat him on his back whenever he follows the right way of potty training.

4. Select a perfect spot for your dog’s potty area. You have to consider that if you plan to have it outside, you wouldn’t want your dog’s wastes lying everywhere outside your house. Find the most suitable potty area that is easily accessible and make sure to mark it. The potty area should not be just before your yard fence or near your carpeted floors inside your house.

Then again, if you live in a condominium or apartment, then you find the best potty area you can designate for your dog’s potty training. It may be on near the dirty kitchen or somewhere that does not have any carpet. The good news is that we have potty training systems out in the market which can save you from cleaning their urine or feces every single time they mess up your home.

Porch Potty is the best tool you’d ever need in completing the potty training phase of your dogs. It is the best tool ever invented to aid in teaching your dogs the right way of doing it. It saves you time, money and the hassles of cleaning up your dog’s mess!

Anybody who has ever raised a child knows how frustrating it can be to go through the potty training stage with a young child. While some children go through the process of potty training fairly easily there are some that may take longer than expected. This could be for any number of reasons including fear of the toilet or the bathroom, having an immature bladder at the time training is started, or even trying to force a child to hard to use the bathroom themselves. And the thing is you cannot give up no matter how difficult the training is. You have to keep dealing with the messes and buying diapers until your child is ready to start using the potty all on his or her own. But there are a few things that you can do along the way that may help your child to overcome what ever fears or other hurdles that they have in their potty training journey. There are a few potty training tips that may get them go potty all by themselves in no time at all.

1. The first tip regarding potty training that will make your life much easier is to learn to be persistent without pushing your child to hard. Be sure to take your child to the potty every time that they say they have to go to the bathroom but do not punish them if they don’t actually go. It is also a bad idea to punish your child if they have an accident and did not tell you that they had to go. If a child doesn’t make it to the bathroom in time and they are punished for it they may be afraid that the next time they tell you they won’t make it again and they will be punished for it. Be there for them but do not be too hard on them.

2. Another way to get the idea of going potty in the bathroom in your child’s head id to take them to the bathroom every time that they have an accident. Set them on the potty to show them that this is where they should go and clean them up in the bathroom and it may help to reiterate the fact that the bathroom is for going potty.

3. It always helps to make going potty fun for your child as well. There are plenty of books out there about potty training that you can read to your children that may make them realize that using the toilet is not so bad after all. Showing them characters that they can some how relate to doing the same thing may help to get them going.

4. Giving your child small rewards can also be a great way to encourage potty training but they should be given fairly minimally. The best time to give a reward would be when the child goes to the bathroom completely on his own and it should not be expected that they will get a gift every time they use the toilet.

Potty training can be difficult but with a few tricks up your sleeve you can have your child going to the bathroom by his or her self in no time.

While it isn’t simple to potty-train a kid, potty training boys can be exceedingly hard. Statistically, boys do take more time to train, but that fact shouldn’t deter you from beginning the method.

Bear in mind that when you gain your youngster’s trust and confidence, the potty training abilities will follow. Recommendation and tips from other oldsters on the method can be extremely beneficial and comforting. Just know that your boy will be toilet trained when he’s prepared and not before. Here are some pointers on how to potty train your son.

Though nobody appears to see why, it does take more time to potty-train boys than it does for girls. The difference might be partly thanks to the fact that moms are customarily the person in charge of potty training. Without a male idol to imitate in the lavatory, boys may take a little longer to get the point. Boys have more steps in the training process too. They first learn how to potty sitting down and then find out how to toilet train standing up. Ensure your small boy become happy with employing a potty chair before you transition to the main toilet.

Having their own potty appears to inspire faster potty learning. Give him sufficient time to pace his learning and often times when he’s eventually permitted to use the main toilet, he’s going to become interested by potty training again, as he is going to feel like he could be an enormous kid. Getting him used to the main toilet means sitting to urinate. When he shows that he will be able to control himself doggedly, it’s the proper time to demonstrate the easy way to urinate while standing up. This part of the children potty training technique is easier demonstrated by his dad or another male family person. When he has mastered urinating sitting, he will be able to move up to the standing position. Try to make arrangements for Pa or a bigger brother to help with this step. Let him watch the method and then let your child try it for himself in his potty chair. Boys love a challenge, so if he appears disinterested, try floating some Cheerios or other small targets that may be flushed in the john bowl.

Till he refines his target, expect to scrub up some coaching potty messes! You should generally inspire your child in the potty training process, even if it implies he does not get it right the 1st time or on successive attempts. It is just part of the training practice to try to fail till the theorem is mastered. With commitment and patience, you can teach your small boy the right way of using the can, though there might be many problems to say with on the way. Hopefully, these potty training tips have helped you work out the easiest way to potty-train your boy.

Congratulations on your families new dog. Now is when the real work begins. Providing quality care for a dog, especially a puppy, is like taking care of a small child – they require 24 hour attention and they need lots of loving affection even when they make plenty messes. Here are some important dog training tips to help make the adjustment period easier for both of you.

Dinner Time

- Dogs should be fed on a set schedule. One of the most important puppy training tips is to feed your dog at the same times every day. This makes it much easier for house breaking. Keep in mind that most puppies need to eat at least 3 meals a day in order to supply the calories that their growing bodies need.

- Feed your dog a high quality diet. This is twofold – one, higher quality dog food will provide the nutrients that your dog needs to stay healthy. Two, a higher quality dog food creates less and better formed stools, reducing the number of accidents that your dog will have.

- Do not free feed your dog. What goes in must come out, and if you are free feeding your dog, you may not be home when this happens. Free feeding can also lead to obesity and other health problems.

Puppy Potty Training Tips

- Keep your dog on a potty schedule. An essential puppy potty training tip for house training involves a schedule. A schedule for going outside to use the bathroom makes it easier for your dog to anticipate when he or she will be able to go out next, and it help eliminates the risk of accidents. -

- Take the dog out in immediate “gotta go” situations. There are some situations that a dog will need to go to the bathroom – immediately after waking, eating, being crated, or in times of great excitement.

“Bad” Dog Training Tips

Much of puppy training involves preventing unwanted behavior. Here are some dog training tips that will make it easier to make your dog a model citizen.

- Set your dog up to succeed. Dog training tips without common sense will be counter productive to your dog training efforts. Make sure your dog does not have access to things that you do not want them to chew on.

- Do not give your dog items of clothing to play with. Your dog does not know the difference between playing tug of war with an old sock and playing tug of war with your brand new pair of pantyhose.

- Rotate toys. Like children, dogs can get bored with the same toys over and over again. Rotate toys as part of your dog training to help keep them fresh, and replace toys that have become broken or excessively worn.

Correction Dog Training Tips

Your dog will need correction at some point of your dog training. Tips to help with this include:

- Only use positive reinforcement. – Ignore bad behaviors like barking for attention.

- stop behavior unexpectdedly. Interrupting behavior at the same time and in the same way will cause your dog to ignore you.

- Redirect unwanted behaviors. If your dog is starting to jump up, tell him to sit and reward him for sitting. Replace inappropriate chew toys, like shoes, with appropriate toys instead.

By taking the time to conduct appropriate dog training, you will enjoy a lifetime of relaxed companionship with your new best friend.

At CheapPuppyPads.com We understand the special bond between you and your dog. Introducing a puppy or any pet to their new home is both exciting and challenging. If you begin treating your dog with calm assertive energy, sharing affection at the right moments, and correcting your dog at the correct moments, you can create behavior in your dog that will result in a happy and well balanced dog.

Get your child more interested in potty training with a Potty Elmo doll. Children are encouraged to help Elmo with the potty and then learn that they can be like Elmo and use the potty. The Potty Elmo Doll is a visual for kids to focus on.

Potty Elmo is an educational doll that your child interacts with for potty training. Elmo comes with a potty chair, sippy cup, and a storybook. Here is how Elmo works: The child will squeeze Elmo’s hand and he asks for a drink. Sometimes he asks for more and other times he says he needs to go to the potty. If he has an accident he says “accidents happen” and when he goes on time to the potty he sings a song about how he can do it and so can you. It is really cute. Potty training tips and a chart also come with Elmo. He uses batteries, which need to be purchased separately. The age group for the Potty Elmo doll is 18 months and up.

Many of the dolls come with an Elmo Potty Time DVD. This DVD teaches children that everyone has to learn how to use the potty. Your child will learn that accidents are okay and that it takes time and practice before he can use the potty on his own. This DVD helps child learn confidence-building skills and healthy habits that will last a lifetime. Using the DVD at the same time as Potty Elmo serves as positive reinforcement.

Here’s a Potty Elmo Tip: Parents have found that it helps to sit Elmo’s potty chair next to their child’s potty chair in the bathroom. When their child goes and sits on the potty, Elmo can sit on his at the same time.

Child development is unique for each child. Some children are ready to be potty trained at a young age. Children as young as eighteen months can show the signs of maturity and physical capabilities that are necessary to be potty trained. Other children may take longer and not be ready until three or four years of age. It’s very important to stress that the age a child potty trains does not reflect their intelligence or future maturity. Just because a child can physically get on and off a potty or even take off her diaper and clothes, does not mean she is ready to begin potty training. Likewise, just because a child talks about going in the potty does not necessarily indicate she is ready. A child will need to have both the physical and emotional capabilities of being potty trained before they are considered ready.

Unfortunately, many “experts” claim there is a particular age to begin the potty training process. Some experts feel children less than two years of age should not be potty trained. They fear that parents will try to train their child before they are ready. Yes, if a child is being forced to do something before they are ready then there can be adverse consequences. A child can become defiant or even rebellious if they are forced to do something before they are ready. This can result in long-term problems with parent-child relationships and problems with potty habits after training. However, contrary to what some experts or organizations say, some children are ready to train early. If potty trained correctly, there may be no consequences to training early. There may even be positive personal rewards for the child and family. Anyone who quotes an age when a child is too young for potty training is probably making generalizations that do not apply to all children. Some children less than two years of age can be safely trained if they show signs they are ready and if the parents’ expectations are realistic. If a young child experiences a pleasant potty training experience then he is less likely to experience other potty problems in the future.

Children should exhibit some basic physical capabilities in order to begin the potty training process.

• The child should be able to help with the task of taking off their pants or undergarments.

• Your child should be able to assist with taking off the diaper or pull-up when the urge to go hits them.

• Depending on the type of potty used, children should be able to get on the potty in a comfortable position. If a small portable floor potty is used, then young children will be more able to straddle and keep their feet on or near the floor.

• Using a traditional commode will probably require significant assistance from a parent. Toilet inserts and stepping stools are very helpful when attempting to begin potty training on a regular commode.
